I'm not very good at making Top lists. Maybe this is funny coming from someone who is very well organised and tidy, but I'm simply not a woman of lists.

When someone asks me what my favourite films, bands, cities, food are, I just go blank. Is it because there are so many things you have to consider to be able to give an appropriate answer? That usually doesn’t stop me from having an opinion… However, I don't have a favourite film, for example, I like different ones and it changes the more I watch and depending on my mood or what's going on in my life when you ask me. I can't have favourites set in stone, and usually when I sit down and try to come up with a list, I never manage to remember the ones that I truly like. They will often come to me all of a sudden when I'm doing something else and I'll go ''Oh! And that one! I forgot that one! How could I forget that one!''.

After this confession you are going to think I'm a bit bonkers for announcing that I'd like to start a Top 5 category in this blog. Top 5 London places you must visit, Top 5 books about fashion, Top 5 films about style... you get the idea.

I'm not a woman of lists but I like lists! They are amazing sources for reference, they go straight to the point and offer quick and specific information about a topic.

This new category will work both as practice for me and as a database of collective knowledge. I will have to ask my friends for help so I can get those first lists together, and I'd like to invite you too to be part of the process. Send me your suggestions and favourites on different topics - countries to visit, books, books about fashion, films, films about the industry, museums, restaurants, work outs… - you can do it by leaving a comment below or by tweeting me @colpodocchioUK . Follow me if you haven't already, I always answer and I check everyone's accounts!

Who knows? I might end up getting good at this list making art!
